“Urgency”
50×60, Acrylic on canvas, 2024
550 CHF
This piece is built almost entirely through gesture — thick, layered brushstrokes, applied with speed and intention. The city emerges from motion rather than structure: blocks of color, flashes of light, a wet street reflecting the urgency of two cars breaking through the blur.
The work uses palette knife and dry brush techniques alongside quick acrylic washes to create a sense of depth and urban tension. Rather than detailing architecture, it captures the atmosphere of a night soaked in rain, light, and speed.
