“Sans oiseau”
100×70, Acrylic on Canvas, incl. frame, 2024

A quiet, still space — a fusion of landscape and abstraction. The composition suggests a frozen perspective, a horizon suspended in silence, waiting.
The title “Sans oiseau” (“Without the bird”) reflects an unfinished gesture: there had been an intention to add a single bird, but time never allowed for it. In the end, the absence became integral of the work — the pause, the breath, the thing withheld.
“Sans oiseau” is a work with a story that extends beyond the canvas. Together with “Nocturnal Bloom”, it was nearly stolen by someone once considered a close friend, following an exhibition — an incident that led to a major personal conflict and fallout.
PS: The full story remains complex and unresolved, and for now, it is best shared in person.
